Privacy

Privacypolicy.

Photographers carry their work close. The same posture applies to data: we keep what we need, no longer than we need it, and explain — in plain language — what we do with the rest.

Scope of this policy

This Privacy Policy describes how PoseCuratorAI (“we”, “us”, “the app”) collects, processes, and protects information when you use the PoseCuratorAI mobile application and any related services.

By installing, opening, or otherwise using the app, you confirm that you have read and understood this policy. If you do not agree with any part of it, please stop using the service and uninstall the app.

Information we collect

We try to collect as little as we plausibly can. The categories below cover every datum the app touches in normal operation.

  • +Account identifiers — an authentication token issued by our identity provider, used to verify that requests to the generation API come from a signed-in user.
  • +Reference photos — the image you choose to upload or capture, transmitted to the AI provider to condition the pose suggestions returned to you.
  • +Generated images — the pose images returned by the model, stored on-device in an IndexedDB cache for seven days so the same session can resume offline.
  • +Device and diagnostic data — non-identifying signals such as the app version, the device model class, and anonymous error telemetry used to fix crashes.
  • +Local preferences — your theme choice, your last shoot type, and similar conveniences kept in your device’s local storage.

How we use the information

Information is used strictly to operate, defend, and improve the service. Specifically, it is used to authenticate your account, generate pose suggestions from a reference frame you supply, cache results so the app stays responsive on patchy mobile networks, diagnose crashes and slow paths, and uphold our Terms of Service.

We do not sell your data. We do not rent it. We do not use your reference photos to train third-party advertising models.

Reference photos and AI processing

When you choose to generate pose suggestions, your selected reference image is transmitted to our AI processing partner over an encrypted connection. The image is used exclusively to inform that one generation request and the resulting suggestions.

We do not retain your reference photos on our servers after the request completes. Generated images are cached locally on your device only.

Certain categories — at present, “Newborn” — explicitly omit the reference photo from the generation request as an additional safety measure.

Third parties and processors

We work with a small number of service providers who help us run the app. Each of them is bound by contract to handle your data only on our instructions and to keep it confidential.

  • +Authentication and account services, used to verify your identity.
  • +AI image-generation services, used to produce pose suggestions from your reference photo.
  • +Crash and diagnostic services, used to find and fix bugs without identifying individual users.
  • +Distribution platforms such as the Google Play Store, which provide install and update infrastructure.

Cookies, tokens, and local storage

The mobile app does not use third-party advertising cookies. It does use first-party local storage on your device — for your authentication token, your theme preference, the seven-day IndexedDB image cache, and similar housekeeping. Clearing the app’s storage from your device settings will remove all of it.

Children’s privacy

The service is not directed to children under the age of thirteen, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us and we will delete it.

Security measures

All network traffic between the app and our services travels over HTTPS. Authentication tokens are stored in the app’s sandboxed local storage. Access to internal systems is restricted to the small number of people who need it to keep the service running.

No system is perfectly secure. If we ever discover a breach that affects your personal information, we will notify you and the relevant authorities as required by law.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access the information we hold about you, correct it, delete it, restrict its processing, or object to it. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data-protection authority.

International transfers

Our processors may operate in jurisdictions outside your own. Where personal data crosses a border, we rely on standard contractual clauses or equivalent safeguards to protect it.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy when the law, our practices, or the app itself change. The “Last revised” date at the top of this page will move when that happens. Substantive changes will be announced inside the app the next time you open it.
